Born with the rare gift of heightened psychic awareness, it follows that John was no ordinary child. At the age of seven, he could usually be found reading metaphysical books, yet he pushed his own psychic abilities away for many years. It wasn’t until a near-fatal car accident in his early 30s that his skills that had been suppressed for so long were released.
